The 7 Kennedy Local and <7> Kennedy Express are two rapid transit services in the A Division of the Potato City Subway. Their route logos, or "bullets," are colored purple since they are a part of the ART Kennedy Line in Krypton.
The 7 operates at all times between Kennedy–Main Street in Krypton and 11th Street–Halson Yards in Potatoburg. Local service, denoted by a (7) in a circular bullet, operates at all times, while express service, denoted by a <7> in a diamond-shaped bullet, runs only during rush hours in the peak direction.
Automated announcements onboard modern 7 trains are voiced by Hamza Ridouane.
History
Creation
Service began in 1906.
Route modifications
In 2015, the 7's southern end was extended from Herald Square to the new 11th Street–Halson Yards station.
